Developed by the Central Bank of Brazil, Pix revolutionizes online payments in the country. With its robust infrastructure and widespread adoption, Pix has rapidly become the preferred choice for digital transactions across Brazil.
This real-time payment system operates 24/7, enabling users to transfer funds instantly. By the end of February 2022, 15 months from launch, 67% of Brazilians had either made or received a Pix transaction worth approximately US$ 1.2 trillion. PIX offers unparalleled convenience, security, and efficiency in the realm of online payments.

Upon purchase, funds are directly debited from the consumer’s bank account.

Once initiated, Pix transactions are processed in seconds and cannot be reversed, providing instant payment confirmation to both payer and payee. This ensures certainty and immediate fund availability. While Pix aliases simplify transactions, registration is not required to make a payment.
Pix does not support recurring payments at the moment.
