Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is in charge of developing business solutions. The main goal is improving and growing a business, by fostering and developing relationships with customers and other partners. The person in this position will manage new sales strategies, sales ideas and business plans. This requires thorough knowledge of the marketplace and of the company's competitors. Task are mainly focused on an improvement of profitability through careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or to enhance the operation of the business, position or reputation.

The Business Development Manager will work closely with the sales and marketing departments to identify potential new clients, craft proposals, and review contracts. This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills and someone who is highly motivated problem solver with the ability to effectively communicate and keep up with a dynamic of the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services;

  • • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals;

  • • Finding and following new sales leads, arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients;

  • • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them;

  • • Proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities;

  • • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations;

  • • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments;

  • • Developing ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty;

  • • Motivate and support team members to exceed expected goals;

  • • Managing records of sales, revenue, and other important data;

  • • Cultivating positive interactions and relationships with sales representatives, team leaders and managers, and executives to evaluate sales strategy and results;

  • • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals;

  • • Researching market and industry trends and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy;

Requirements:

  • • Three to five years of previous experience in business development, sales, management, customer service, finance or related fields;

  • • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or related field;

  • • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation;

  • • Excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written);

  • • Working experience with sales techniques;

  • • Excellent leadership skills;

  • • Critical thinker and problem solver;

  • • Great communication and presentation skills;
